Ingredients
- 1 recipe Double crust pie
- 0.5 C sugar
- 3 T flour
- 5 C fresh or frozen berries
Instructions
- Prepare and roll out pastry for double crust pie. Line 9-inch plate with half of the pastry
- In a large mixing bowl stir together sugar and flour. Add berries. Gently toss till coated. If using frozen fruit, let stand for 15-30 minutes.
- Transfer berry mixture to the pastry lined pie plate. Trim pastry to edge of pie plate. cut slits in remaining pastry; place on filling and seal.
- To prevent overbrowning, cover edge of the pie with foil.
- Bake 375 for 25 minutes (50 for frozen)
- Remove foil Bake for 25-30 minutes more or till top is golden
