Berry Berry Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe Double crust pie
  • 0.5 C sugar
  • 3 T flour
  • 5 C fresh or frozen berries

Instructions

  1. Prepare and roll out pastry for double crust pie. Line 9-inch plate with half of the pastry
  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together sugar and flour. Add berries. Gently toss till coated. If using frozen fruit, let stand for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Transfer berry mixture to the pastry lined pie plate. Trim pastry to edge of pie plate. cut slits in remaining pastry; place on filling and seal.
  4. To prevent overbrowning, cover edge of the pie with foil.
  5. Bake 375 for 25 minutes (50 for frozen)
  6. Remove foil Bake for 25-30 minutes more or till top is golden
