Ingredients

  • 2 T. melted shortening
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. hot water
  • 1/2 C. orange juice
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 C. cut, fresh cranberries
  • some orange zest

Instructions

  1. Mix. Pour into well-greased loaf pan. Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour.
