Ingredients
- 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
- 8 cups (2 quarts) water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 cups orange juice
- 1 cup lemon juice
- Thin lemon slices
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, water, sugar, orange zest, cinnamon sticks, and cloves in a large pot and cook over medium heat until cranberries are soft, about 30+ minutes. Cranberries may start to pop.
- Strain mixture, then stir in juices.
- Warm mixture without letting it boil. Keep warm until ready to serve.
- Float a thin lemon slice in each cup. Makes 24 half-cup servings.
